Profil recherché

REQUIRED SKILLS


Master’s Degree in French law (LL.M. outside France or foreign Legal Degree is a plus);

Commercial legal experience in law firm(s) and/or in-house;

High standards knowledge in IT law, contract, etc.;

Minimum 6 years' solid legal experience in negotiation of contracts, with strong background in negotiating IT contracts (e.g. with software editors);

Ability to work in an international and culturally diverse environment;

Familiar with professional regulations;

Self-motivated, creative and autonomous with good interpersonal skills;

Outstanding drafting skills;

Fluent English and French is a must.  


PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS


Technical expertise:

Understanding of customer activities to identify the risks and issues in their environment and implement efficient solutions with minimum impacts on the day to day work;

High level of understanding of IT business and related legal/regulatory items.

Ability to provide advice regarding legal matters in accordance with AXA’s strategy; 

Ability to identify legal and reputational risks;

Delivering legally compliant documentation with favorable provisions and in line with best available market practice;

Giving ad hoc oral advice, in particular to Business, on a daily basis.


Transaction Management / Negotiation & Drafting Skills:

Ability to negotiate and draft complex legal documentation in English, and potentially in French;

Ability to draft internal presentations and memos for internal clients;

Translating business decisions into legal documentation;


INTER-RELATIONAL SKILLS

Having a positive attitude with very good interpersonal skills;

Explaining concisely complex legal topics and their relevance to non-legal people including Management and operational teams (e.g. through presentations);
