The current trends show the adoption of Cloud 3.0 with Cloud Native practices and technologies driving the hybrid and multi-Cloud acceleration from Private Clouds to Edge Clouds, of course going through Hyperscalers.

As recently stated by a major analyst firm, Industry Cloud Platforms along with Platform Engineering will be two of the Top 10 trends for 2023 directly impacting the way enterprises consume Cloud services. To help our customers in this new Cloud Native transformation and part of its "Infinite 2024" plan, Devoteam is launching a new capability, the Cloud Native Innovation Labs. 

Those Labs mix both strong technical and consulting personnel to help their customers in : 

• Leveraging new key Cloud Native technologies or companies such as Kubernetes, Hashicorp, GitLab… 

• Adopting new Cloud Native ways of working such as Site Reliability Engineering, GitOps, Modern Testing...

• Rolling out Platform Engineering teams in charge of maintaining the Internal Business Platform to ease developers' life and reduce time to market

• Shaping the Cloud Native strategy and transformation plan to adopt those new operating models and transform their business applications to a platform model

Our Cloud Native Innovation Labs team will help customers from the initial inception phase down to the actual deployment of the Cloud Native capabilities.

Descriptif du poste

As a Cloud Native Strategy Principal, you will be part of the Cloud Native Innovation Labs leadership team and will drive the relationship with our customers during their whole Cloud Native journey. You will also be responsible for the engagements to shape, define and execute the associated projects.

Your activities will cover : 

• Promote and deliver the Cloud Native Innovation Labs services with our customers from the initial discussions to the planning of the Cloud Native boosters 

• Act as a recognized subject matter expert on the Cloud Native Transformation as well as Platform Engineering topics

• Lead the Cloud Native consulting teams working on infrastructure, application, operational and platform topics

• Collaborate with customers to understand their business, technical & transformation stakes around Cloud Native applications transformations

• Write and present the propositions to accompany our customers through this journey at each phase of their adoption : Inception, Prototyping, Activation & Acceleration

• Coordinate all the required Devoteam personnel to deliver the Cloud Native Innovation Labs engagements to our customers

• Maintain the long term relationship with our customers leaders by acting as a “Trusted Advisor” in this Cloud Native journey

• Support the “At Scale” transition when handing over the acceleration to our managed services or application modernization teams  

• Support the personal development of our young consulting talents on both hard and soft skills required in this new Cloud 3.0 world

• Be accountable with the Cloud Native Innovation Labs director of the offerings roadmap

Profil recherché

You have more than 10 years experience both in a consulting role including Cloud transformation projects and led multiple Cloud consulting engagements, ideally on Cloud Native topics. In particular, you experienced the transformation of operating models with the definition and set-up of  capabilities such as Cloud Native Center of  Excellence, modern operations, agile delivery, site reliability engineering teams…

In your career, you have been exposed to : 

• Shape, build, present and sell consulting proposals on Cloud transformation topics (strategy, operating models, ways of working, centre of excellence…)

• Lead Cloud engagements delivery mixing both technical and consulting resources around topics such as organisation, operating model, culture transformation, financial optimization…

• Maintain the executive relationship with customer CxO level to present the progress and outcomes of Cloud Native engagements

• Work with one or multiple major Public Cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure & GCP), owning one or more of their Cloud accreditation

• Define Cloud services catalogues (IaaS, PaaS, XaaS…) to be delivered in a hybrid and multi-Cloud model to customers

• Tackle the issues brought at the operational level by Cloud Native technologies such as GitOps, DevOps, FinOps, ChatOps…

• Ideally, on how Artificial Intelligence impacts Cloud Native operations on multiple dimensions : operations, development, testing… 

• Be a subject matter expert on Cloud operating model in front of the customers

• Deliver projects with modern agile ways of working with the associated methods and frameworks (Agile, Safe, Kanban, ITIL, Lean, TOGAF…)

• Execute consulting engagements leveraging collaborative and inclusive models such as Design Thinking, co-creation… 

On the required soft skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English

• Experience of working in a time-constrained environment

• Self-starter and highly motivated as well as analytical and logical

• Excellent organisation skills as well as communication and stakeholder management skills

• Excellent at working with a variety of stakeholders

• Strong team leader with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams

• … And of course be passionate about new Cloud and Digital trends
