Job Description

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for increasing Arkadin's marketshare by selling Arkadin' Unified Communications and Collaborative into new business Medium-sized Enterprises within assigned territory. 

Your main objectives are:

- Position Arkadin as the customer's preferred UC & Collaboration services provider through:
o Primary scope: UC or Videoconferencing solutions
o Secondary scope: Virtual Events and Audio & Web conferencing solutions
- Reaching and exceeding monthly & yearly revenue targets
- Maintain a high level of New Business productivity through acquisition of new clients
- Generate new/additional revenue streams within new accounts acquired
- Successful performance against Arkadin's qualitative and quantitative sales KPI targets

Your key activities and tasks:

• Strategically target, prospect and acquire Medium Enterprise Companies as per the territory assigned
• Maintain a consistent high level of prospecting activity both on phone and face to face meetings, in order to ensure daily, weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met and/or exceeded
• Generate new business within the assigned territory and segment by signing new Clients every month
• Negotiate contractual terms with prospects and clients
• Maintain accurate records within the company's sales databases
• Understand Arkadin competitors and introduce sales strategies to penetrate these potential clients
• Perform other assigned tasks as requested

Your key expected results:

• Achieve and/or surpass monthly & yearly revenue targets
• Increase monthly revenue by closing new business opportunities, acquiring new clients, and identifying new revenue streams within acquired clients
• Manage the sales process as necessary and fully understand the business, buying and decision making process
• Provide short and long term accurate revenue forecast and new business development 
• Successful performance against Arkadin's qualitative and quantitative sales KPI targets
• Report daily, weekly and monthly productivity to Sales Manager
• Be an expert in Arkadin's products, solutions, policies and procedures


• University Degree (Sales related is a plus)
• 3 - 5 years BtoB sales experience in services (ICT not mandatory, but software/UC is a plus)
• 1-2+ years' experience B2B Sales in ICT/Telecommunication- Telephony /Software Industry
• Entrepreneurial character
• Must be a committed self-starter who has the drive to succeed in a high-energy team environment
• Must have a persuasive nature and professional phone demeanor
• Very good oral and written communication skills
 Fluent in English, French and Flemish
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to involve Arkadin's human and material resources when needed in case of increased sales complexity
• Effective presentations skills during demos of Arkadin's solutions both virtually and face-to-face
• Eager to learn and implement quickly new offers, campaigns and initiatives of an increasingly wider portfolio of collaborative solutions as per Arkadin's products roadmap.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
